Youth Engagement

Souper Bowl of Caring endeavors to help youth leadership programs to promote understanding of their community, empathy towards neighbors in need, encourage philanthropy, and act to make their neighborhoods better.  See our church and school resources for great activities and lesson plans.  If you are interested in implementing a Souper Bowl of Caring Youth Advisory Board in your area, please email us at [email protected] and we will gladly share more resources for that special work.  For Youth Leaders and Pastors, check out our resources for lots of great material to help your youth understand the complexities of poverty and hunger.

Souper Bowl of Caring Youth Advisory Board

Souper Bowl of Caring looks to connect compassionate and dedicated young people who will work together to share ideas, create and participate in food drive campaigns, while raising awareness of the urgent and growing needs of hunger-related issues in their local communities. By providing them a platform, resources, tools and opportunities to grow in a leadership role, Souper Bowl of Caring hopes to build future philanthropists through a positive and engaging program dedicated to youth.

Are you passionate about leadership and service? Join the team for those in need as a Souper Bowl of Caring Youth Advisory Board member. Be a part of a nationally oriented think tank, share your strengths, ideas and connect with other like-minded youth to make a significant impact on hunger in your local communities and around the country.  Applications are accepted every summer and new SBoC YAB members begin their tenure when school begins each fall.  SBoC YAB members should be entering or in high school.  Look for the application here starting in the spring each year.

Donate to Souper Bowl of Caring

One of the fundamentals of Souper Bowl of Caring is that everything collected by our participants during their campaign is donated directly to the charity of their choice in their local community. Because of this, we rely on donations from caring people like you to help us continue our mission to unite communities and empower youth to tackle hunger. A donation to Souper Bowl of Caring is an investment: For every $1 you donate, $30 is generated for charities in local communities across the country.
