The Tackle Hunger Challenge
What if everyone watching your game gave one can or one dollar to help those who are food insecure in your community?
Tackle Hunger, the Home of the Souper Bowl of Caring, has done research now to gain better understanding of how often high school athletes are food insecure. Very rarely do we think of our student athletes as it relates to the number of low income families in our high schools. Although food pantries are only part of the hunger solution, certainly we know that emergency food needs must be met in order for students to meet their potential.
Our Tackle Hunger Challenge campaign can be used to support the needs of a school's food pantry, a school's athletic department, or a local food charity that is helping your families in need.
A school club or team can host a food drive using the energy of a football game! Be sure to report your totals by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org, as we show our collective impact. Learn more below.
If you aren't part of a group, you can still take the Tackle Hunger Challenge. Go to the Tackle Hunger Map and give today!
