Tackle Hunger partners with both national and local partners to support your efforts to tackle hunger and make sure your food charities has the critical resources it needs to help clients in need at all times. Our mission is to mobilize collaboration to help food charities do their work better.
It's easy to join our network and it is completely free! Just make sure your charity's pin is on the Tackle Hunger Map (link to registering on the map) or make sure your charity's contact email is associated with the pin so we can communicate with you from time to time.

While there is a small fee for these specialized programs, our experience shows that charities who work with us one-on-one see significant benefits from this investment, helping cover our costs and maximize their impact.
Food Charity Support
Tackle Hunger has been advocating and mobilizing thousands of groups to support local food charities for over thirty years. We have developed partnerships and skill sets that help us do so. We also support food charities who are in need of new fundraising techniques and ideas to make sure that there is enough food to meet the current levels of need.
School Based Food Program Support
Tackle Hunger has years of expertise in helping schools create and sustain food programs through a variety of grassroots initiatives. For your school, we can provide guidance and best practices on how to start and maintain a food pantry/program depending on the specific needs of your community and can provide support to create fundraisers to engage students and excite them to annually help the food program. Some other services we can provide for an additional fee: Provide turn-key, proven service-learning curriculum to teach your students about the importance of leadership and how to organize their community and solve for your specific pain points as it relates to hunger at your school or simple ways to encourage service-learning in hunger related charities.

For your town, city, or state office, we can help you understand the problem and create a plan to address the needs of your community. Our Tackle Hunger Map is a useful tool in fighting hunger, and we can show you how to use it to increase access to nutritious foods and to support food charities across your jurisdiction.
