About the Event

For over 35 years, Tackle Hunger’s Souper Bowl of Caring has inspired thousands to give during Big Game week — helping local food charities feed their communities.
This year, we’re shining the spotlight on Bayview, once home to the 49ers’ Candlestick Park and now one of the city’s largest food deserts.

With your help, we’re partnering with True Hope Church and Pastor Dr. Arelious Walker to open a new food pantry for families in the Alice Griffith Low-Income Housing Community.

    Highlights:

    • Hear from Pastor Dr. Arelious Walker and city leaders.

    • Celebrate the grand opening of the True Hope Food Pantry.

    • Join the food and toy distribution for Alice Griffith families.

    👥 In attendance: church and city leaders, former NFL players, sponsors, and media.

    Join neighbors citywide by leaving a bag of non-perishable food on your porch. Volunteers will collect donations supporting True Hope Food Pantry and local charities.

    How It Works:
